The cyclorama

The cyc is a cornerless U, 25 by 30 feet, and it's rideable, so you can run camera moves straight through it. On the same floor there's a separate 10 by 13 flat cyc wall. The whole wall space runs 45 by 25 feet. Green screen is available on request, just let us know when you book.

Rigging & load-in

Thirteen-foot ceilings with exposed, accessible beams. Four pigeon plates plus beams for Lyra and overhead work. A 12-foot load-in gate at street level, seven minutes from the Morgan L and the Myrtle-Broadway JMZ, with street parking out front. Wheelchair accessible.

Common questions

Before you book

Is there parking at the studio?

Yes. There is street parking directly out front on Troutman Street. If you are coming by train, we are seven minutes from the Morgan Avenue L and the Myrtle-Broadway JMZ.

What is load-in like? Is there a loading dock?

There is no dock and you do not need one. Load-in is a 12-foot gate at street level, so you roll carts straight in. No stairs, no freight elevator to book, and nothing to schedule with a building manager.

How many people can the space hold?

A production booking covers up to five people. Bigger crews are welcome, just tell us the headcount and we will adjust the quote. For events the room holds up to 150 guests.

How late can we run sound?

You can run amplified sound through the evening, but it has to come down after 11pm. Plan your loudest work earlier in the booking and keep the back half lower.

What happens if we run over?

Overtime is billed at time and a half, by the hour. If you think you might need the extra time, tell us when you book and we will hold it for you.
